Torniamo a parlare dei tifosi cosentini, questa volta per uno striscione che, volendo incitare la squadra, impegnata nell’ultimo sofrzo per la conquista di un posto da titolare nel prossimo (2019) campionato di serie B, hanno scelto parte del testo di un brano di Bowie.

La scelta è sembrata azzeccata perchè ha portato bene ai silani che hanno vinto 3-1 e sono stati promossi (dopo 15 anni!) e poi perchè quel testo in inglese si sposa molto bene con il tipo di tifo dei Lupi rossoblu. Un colpo d’occhio fantastico!

…e non allo stadio Gigi Marulla, ma in trasferta, a Pescara, in campo neutro.

la canzone è stata pubblicata nel disco omonimo inciso nel 1987 su vinile per l’etichetta musicale RCA Record. Si tratta di uno dei 45 giri di maggior successo del cantante inglese Bowie!
La registrazione è databile al periodo berlinese di David, un momento di ripresa dopo la vita americana dell’artista, contornata da depressione, alcol e droga…a detta di altri artisti del calibro di Lennon e McCartney, sembrava che il Duca Bianco fosse già con un piede nella fossa. E invece, con Brian Eno, esce la perla, Heroes just for one day, con sullo sfondo il muro di Berlino, divisione tra est ed ovest del mondo durante le guerra fredda ed ostacolo tra due amanti. Inutile star qui a apralre dell’accogleinza del pubblico e della stampa, come dei premi ricevuti e delle cover fatte da decine di cantanti.
