Time for Action | Curva Est Teramo
Ultras, musica e sottoculture, tutto nello striscione che i Mods Teramo portavano allo stadio, al tempo del Vecchio Comunale, a sostegno del Diavolo.
La foto si rifà quindi al periodo dei primi anni 2000 e mostra la “pezza” dei modernisti teramani, una presenza fissa in Curva Est, che citano una frase che è una bandiera dell’intero movimento mod: “It’s time for action”. Queste parole non restano indifferenti a chiunque le legga, sono un’esortazione all’azione, ad esserci ed al non passare inosservati. E’il tempo di agire per tutti noi, per la gioventù, per i ribelli, per i mods, per gli ultras! Eh si, questa frase va bene in molte situazioni, si sposa con tanti degli argomenti che trattiamo e con le situazioni che viviamo giorno per giorno, 7 giorni su 7, non solo la domenica, non solo al raduno, non solo al concerto.

una canzone dei Secret Affair, pubblicata il 16 agosto del 1979, nel pieno dell’esplosione del mod revival, da etichetta I-Spy in 45 giri, estratta dal disco Glory Boys, album di esordio della band. Questo brano di Ian Page e soci ha fatto la storia della subcultura mod e della musica anni 80.
