Gialloblu superstar abbiamo vinto il tricolor era il coro degli ultras Curva Sud e dei tifosi di tutto lo stadio Bentegodi nella stagione 1984-85, quella dello scudetto del Verona di Bagnoli.

Si chiamava AC Hellas Verona, aveva una media di oltre 40mila spettastori, lo sponsor Canon, le maglia Adidas, il logo del club erano i due mastini con la scala, era in serie A da 3 anni e tra le sua fila c’erano Briegle, Elkjær e Galderisi e sugli spalti campeggiava lo striscione delle Brigate Gialloblu 1971.

La canzone della tifoseria scaligera a ripetere all’infinito è un coro da stadio che qualcunaltro ha ripetuto, ma che ha origini lontante dalle gradinate; viene dal brano di un musical…oltretutto uno dei più famosi e premiati di sempre, per migliore colonna sonora, attore, scenografia, costumi, luci etc..

La canzone originale è Jesus Christ Superstar, un disco del 1970! Quindi calcio e musica 100%, come piace a noi!

Nasce come LP nel 1970, nel 1971 viene portato a teatro e nel 1973 diventa film.
La trama è la vita di Gesù, ma…narrare il punto di vista di Giuda, Maria Maddalena innamorata di Gesù e descrivere in modo non convenzionale quanto tramandato dal Vangelo è stato oggetto di moltissime polemiche; non mancarono contestazioni che in alcuni casi fecero sospendere le rappresentazioni.
Ma tutto ciò portò anche molta molta fama; ad esempio, a Londra fu rappresentato in teatro consecutivamente per ben 8 anni! (record!).
La colonna sonora del film è stata pubblicata in vinile dalla MCA Records nel 1973, la versione in CD fu pubblicata nel 1993 e nel 1998.
La canzone più importante tra le varie scritte da Andrew Lloyd Webber e Tim Rice è, ovviamente, proprio “Jesus Christ superstar!”
