Tifosi dell’Aberdeen e la musica anni 80
Il binomio Musica e calcio si arricchisce con la Red Army, i tifosi dell’Aberdeen fc, che cantano una canzone degli Human league.
Siamo nel 2014 e la coppa di lega scozzese di quest’anno ha visto vincere i Dons (soprannome dei ragazzi di Aberdeen), che hanno battuto l’Inverness 4-2.
I rossi del Nord della Scozia hanno, con questa, 6 coppe nella propria bacheca; un bel bottino, ma c’è sempre da considerare che Rangers e Celtic ne hanno insieme 41…ecco perchè la vittoria della Scottish Communities League Cup fa impazzire totalmente i tifosi dell’Aberdeen!
La finale si è giocata all’Hampden park di Glasgow il 16 Marzo 2014, ma l’atmosfera era proprio “anni 80”: al termine del match lo speaker dello stadio per omaggiare i vincitori ha suonato un disco degli Human League del 1981 ed i supporters dell’Aberdeen hanno iniziato a cantare. Favoloso!

Il brano è uscito in 45 giri prodotto da etichetta musicale Virgin. La canzone fa parte del disco Dare che spopolò e che raggiunse il primo posto in classifica in Gran Bretagna e negli USA!
Qeso pezzo è troppo bello e per questo è stato oggetto di diverse cover, ad iniziare dal 1989 fino al 2002 con Alcazar.
